OTHER ACTIVITIES IN THE EMPLOYMENT LAW AREA
We have created a complete spectrum of employment law support for our clients, from routine counselling and preparation of all employment law documents, help with employment terminations, representation in legal disputes, negotiations with trade unions and works councils, structuring and reviewing of collective bargaining agreements, advising on choice of governing laws issues, urgent telephone and e-mail advice on all employment law questions, to regular training and publishing in the HR area. All our services are provided in full extent in Czech and English.
Members of Randl Partners employment law team are also (co)authors of a number of books on employment law, for example of the English written Labour Code Commentary or the publication Transfer of rights and obligations of the employer in case of a change of supplier co-authored by Nataša Randlová a David Borovec. Randls employment law authorship team has already released five parts of a successful book 50 Questions and Answers from the Employment Law Advice (respectively 40+1, 40+2, 40+3 and 40+4).
RANKING – EMPLOYMENT LAW The professional qualities and dedication of the members of our employment law team has been frequently recognised by important international and Czech rankings and legal publications. In the most prestigious law firm ranking Chambers Europe 2016, the employment law team was already for the sixth time ranked in the highest category (Band 1). Head of the employment law team Nataša Randlová was awarded for the fifth time with the unique prestigious Star Individual ranking, as a person with an outstanding reputation in her field. The chart still recognizes her as the “number one” in the area of employment law in the Czech Republic. Other important international rankings and publications such as Who's Who Legal and Best Lawyers continue to recommend Nataša Randlová in 2016 as an expert for the area of employment and labour law in the Czech Republic. In 2014, 2012, 2010 and 2009, Randl Partners was awarded the title Czech Law Firm of the Year in the Employment law category. In 2015, Randls lawyers were placed first in the newly established special category of “Leading Law firm of the Year Supporting Women in the Legal Profession”. In previous years, the office was also rated as a leading firm in the Czech Republic in the area of employment law by the publication PLC Which Lawyer?, which, however, is no longer being published.
Our lawyers further frequently publish in Czech and international press. Nataša Randlová is a member of the committee of national contributors of the journal European Employment Law Cases (EELC). We also contribute to the popularization of employment law through publishing a number of articles in daily press, such as providing employment law advice weekly on the news website Novinky.cz. For our clients we also organize RANDLS HR Exchange Meetings 5 times a year, where we discuss a pre-selected employment law topic and invite guests from various areas related to the meeting topic. The meetings are designed to help our clients improve their HR practices and make the functioning of their companies in the field of employment more effective, also through the practical experience of others. Attorneys from Randl Partners actively participate in employment law associations, such as the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA). In 2012 Randl Partners played an important role in the founding of the Czech Employment Lawyers Association (CzELA). Nataša Randlová was appointed member of the working party of the Legislative committee of the Czech Government - employment law and social security. She also acts as a mediator for collective bargaining claims and, as an external lecturer, also teaches employment law at the Department of Adult Education and Personnel Management of the Faculty of Arts at the Charles University in Prague.
