In 2014, we were awarded the highest award “Law Firm of 2014 for Public Procurement Section” and in 2012 “Regional Law Firm of 2012.” We are also regularly rank among the top recommended law firms in the public procurement and ICT law sector in this prestigious competition held by EPRAVO.CZ under the auspices of the Ministry of Justice and the Czech Bar Association. For many years we have been the holder of the 9001:2008 ISO certification issued by the renowned certification institution, NQA. The subject-matter of the certification is “Provision of legal services and consultancy in the area of public investments and public procurement.”
Social responsibility MT Legal, besides its legal practice, is a long-term supporter of selected charity projects of non-profit organisations and foundations. We cooperate with, or through our pro bono activities we support, significant humanitarian organizations such as Člověk v tísni and Konto bariéry. The cooperation with Konto bariéry has resulted in founding our own MT Legal Foundation and we have also become one of the major partners of Konto bariéry. Moreover, we also support other projects, such as assistance to abandoned or disadvantaged children through the cooperation with Tereza Maxová Foundation, or the health and reconditioning stays for children from the Ukraine held by the Social Foundation Fund of the city of Brno known as The Homes of Those in Need (Domovy potřebných). In the area of sports we support the HC Kometa Brno hockey team as well as some handicapped athletes through the Czech Sports Representation Foundation. In 2014, our company became a member of the Business Leaders Forum (BLF), which is a platform that unites socially responsible businessmen and firms fulfilling social responsibility with their principles. BLF is a part of prestigious international organizations, International Business Leaders Forum and CSR Europe.

of the founding members and also the current Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association for Public Contracts. Warrantor of suggestions and observations of the law firm on the draft of the Act on Public Procurement, which is now being prepared in accordance with the new European legislation. A direct co-author of the Act No. 137/2006 Coll., on Public Procurement prepared in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development. A co-author of the extensive commentary regarding the Act on Public Procurement (ASPI 2006). He also played an important role in preparing the comprehensive Public Procurement Methodology in accordance with the Act No. 137/2006 Coll., on Public Procurement. A member of the appellate committee of the Chairman of the Office for the Protection of Competition for the area of public procurement. He has given numerous presentations at various seminars, conferences and workshops and has been publishing articles in professional publications for several years.
Milan Šebesta For
several years his main focus has been public procurement law, particularly in relation to IT/ ICT law, energy and utilisation of EU funds. A member of the team for suggestions and observations of the law firm on the draft Act on Public Procurement, which is now being prepared in accordance with the new European legislation. Besides being a direct co-author of the Act No. 137/2006 Coll., on Public Procurement, he has also co-authored the comprehensive Public Procurement Methodology in accordance with the Act No. 137/2006 Coll., on Public Contracts, prepared for the Ministry of Regional Development, and an extensive commentary on the Act on Public Procurement (ASPI 2006). In 2011 he successfully completed his post-graduate studies in Public Procurement Law and Policy at the University of Nottingham in the UK led by Professor Sue Arrowsmith and earned the Master of Laws degree (LL.M.).
