Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (1996-2007), since February 2007 he has been closely cooperating with Daniel Mališ. During his long career as an attorney, Luboš has gained substantial experience in many areas of Czech law, especially business law, focusing in particular on corporate law (including M&A and joint ventures), business and civil contract law, intellectual property law, labor law, and international private law. He was also intensively involved in the preparation of a large number of legal due diligence analyses and extensive contractual documentation for projects in various branches of trade and industry. This included the PPP pilot transport infrastructure project in Central and Eastern Europe. Jakub Celerýn, J.D., partner, is a graduate of Charles University’s School of Law. In 2010 he passed the state rigorosum exam and was awarded a J.D. degree. Two years later he also successfully passed the Czech Bar Exam. Jakub started his career with our law office (called Daniel Mališ & Partners at that time) as a paralegal in 2006. In the course of his long-time practice, Jakub has gained experience particularly in the area of dispute resolution, business law and medical law. He also has substantial experience in real estate and labor law. Jan Pořízek, J.D., partner, is a graduate of Charles University’s School of Law. During his studies, he also completed a oneyear study program at the University of Athens in Greece. He successfully passed the Czech Bar Exam in 2012. Before joining Daniel Mališ & Partners in 2007, Jan worked for a leading Czech law firm specializing in corporate law and M&A. During his career as an attorney he especially focuses on corporate law, dispute resolution and pharmaceutical law, he is also a respected expert on administrative law. Daniel Mališ, J.D., M.D., LL.M., is a graduate of Charles University’s School of Law, Charles University’s First School of Medicine and New York University School of Law. He successfully passed
both the Czech and the New York Bar Exam in 2002. He joined the former Prague branch of the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in 1998, where he worked until 2001. Daniel focused on business law and intellectual property law. During his subsequent career he has gained extensive experience in the areas of real estate law, dispute resolution, medical law and bankruptcy law. Within the Of Counsel position Daniel provides consulting to other colleagues in Mališ Nevrkla Legal and serves as a legal expert in the area of Medical a Pharmaceutical Law.
