Petr Dvořák Petr Dvořák obtained his magister iuris degree at Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Law, in 2005. During his studies he participated in an exchange study programme at the University of Friedrich Wilhelm in Bonn, Germany. Thereafter, between 2005 and 2007, he worked as an associate in a renowned Prague law firm. He joined our law office Vejmelka & Wünsch. in 2007 and specializes in corporate and commercial law, acquisitions and related audits (due diligence) and labour law. Since 2008, Petr Dvořák has been a member of the Czech Bar Association as an attorney-at-law. He speaks Czech, German and English. Jakub Vaněk Jakub Vaněk gained his legal education at Charles University, Prague, Faculty of Law. During his studies he participated in a study programme at Heinrich-Heine University, Düsseldorf. Subsequently, he worked as an associate in the Prague office of a reputable international law firm. Jakub joined Vejmelka & Wünsch in 2006 and he specializes primarily in complex advice concerning commercial law, with particular emphasis on corporate law, M&A, corporate governance and, furthermore, in commercial and civil obligations and labour law. Jakub Vaněk has been a member of the Czech Bar Association since 2010. He speaks Czech, English and German.
Silvie Király In 2006, Silvie Király completed her Magister Iuris at the Faculty of Law, University of West Bohemia, Pilsen. During her studies, she focused on public international law. Several times she participated in international law moot court competitions, namely in the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition held in the Hague in 2003 and in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition held in Washington D.C. in 2004. In 2004, she attended the Summer School of International Criminal Law organized by the Grotius Centre For International Legal Studies, Campus Den Haag. In 2007, she took part in the conference to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the International Criminal Court, held in The Hague. A year before completing her studies, she was enrolled in a oneyear study programme in England, at the School of Law, Manchester Metropolitan University, followed by a half-year traineeship at Amy Tsang & Co. Solicitors in Manchester. She joined Vejmelka & Wünsch in 2007 as an associate, with a previous one and a half year’s practice gained in a renowned Prague law firm. Since 2010 she has been a member of the Czech Bar Association. In her practice, Silvie focuses on commercial law, in particular M&A, and on the law of residential and non-residential premises and litigation. She speaks Czech and English. Markéta Protivánková Markéta Protivánková obtained her Magister Iuris at Charles University, Prague, Faculty of Law, in 1998 and her doctorate at the same university in 2002. She worked as an associate for the Prague office of Bruckhaus Westrick Heller Löber from 1998 to 2000. Marketa continued to practise law there from 2000 to 2002, when the firm formed part of the world-wide network of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Since the 2002 takeover of the Prague office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer by its former partners Josef Vejmelka and Petr Wünsch, she has worked for Vejmelka & Wünsch. Markéta is a member of the Czech Bar Association. She speaks Czech, English, German and Italian. Presently, she specializes in commercial law, M&A, real estate law and environmental law.
