FINANCE PRACTICE Our finance practice in Prague has established an excellent reputation in the Czech market with its dedicated team focusing on the full range of banking, finance and capital markets transactions. The experience of our professionals, led by partner Miloš Felgr, extends to all forms of syndicated and single bank cross-border and domestic banking transactions (secured and unsecured, single currency and multi-currency); asset and project financing (including real estate financing) and other more structured forms of financing; bond issues; commercial paper and note programmes; derivatives (including interest rate, currency, equity and bond); repos and securities lending; and innovative structures and transactions in both markets, such as credit derivatives and securitisation. The synergy between our insolvency and finance teams also allows us to advise on the restructuring of existing distressed financings.

owned by sole shareholder Energetický a průmyslový holding, a.s. ("EPH"). SAZKA Group a.s. and Italian Gaming Holding a.s., on the two layer financing of their successful consortium bid in the lottery concession tender process in Italy. Československá obchodní banka, a.s., Česká spořitelna, a.s., Komerční banka, a.s., UniCredit Bank AG, and UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s. in connection with the refinancing of the acquisition of a portfolio of logistics parks by P3 Group from VGP. Société Générale, as structuring bank, and the lead arrangers on the refinancing of acquisition debt put in place to fund the acquisition of a stake in RWE Grid Holdings a.s. a club of banks led by Komerční banka in connection with a CZK 12 billion refinancing of the existing indebtedness and the provision of new financing for O2 Czech Republic a.s. the joint lead managers, Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Deutsche Bank and Société Générale, on a repeat Reg S Eurobond issue for České dráhy, the main railway operator in the Czech Republic.
