Dr. Karel Čermák jr., Ph.D. managing partner Born in 1973. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Charles University, Master’s Degree in 1996. From 1994 – 1995 studied at the Universite de Provence in Aix-en-Provence, France. In 1996, joined Čermák Hořejš Vrba (presently Čermák a spol.). In 1997, practiced with Gaedertz Rechtsanwälte in Cologne, Germany, Practiced also in the law office of JUDr. Nykodym in Prague. In 1998 obtained a Ph.D. from the Charles University. In 2000 LL.M. at the European Academy of Legal Theory in Brussels. Since 2000 partner in Čermák a spol. Main practice areas: intellectual property law, private international law, unfair competition, pharmaceuticals, trademarks, business law, mergers and acquisitions.
