He began his career as a judge of the District Court in Chrudim, later he worked in the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Přerov, where he was engaged until he commenced his practice of advocacy in 1991. He specializes in provision of legal services in the commercial law sector, focusing on acquisitions and contractual obligations in investment, construction, chemical industry, energy and food sector and he concentrates also on the defense in criminal matters. During his professional career he has successfully led the defense in many important criminal cases. He offers complex legal services concerning the management of commercial companies (i.e. corporate governance). JUDr. Hlína participated in a great number of important acquisitions of the firm’s clients and their value in many cases exceeded CZK 1 billion. In the beginnings of his professional career in advocacy he also participated in the restitution litigations and judicial rehabilitations.

He provides legal counselling and services to the clients of the firm, in particular in relation to foundation, incorporation and possibly also the liquidation and dissolution of all the forms of commercial companies. He has experience with all types of commercial companies and cooperatives mergers, including cross-border mergers. He participated in preparation and implementation of the placement of shares on alternative European securities market. He provides complete legal services related to commercial companies’ management (i.e. corporate governance) and their administration, participates in preparation and organization of general meetings. Mgr. Schenk also has extensive experience in the area of the law of securities, in particular the law of bills of exchange and promissory notes. Since 2000, Štěpán Schenk has also worked as an insolvency administrator.
