PARTNERS Martin Řanda, LL.M. Managing Partner Martin Řanda has extensive expert experience in international transactions gained during the privatisation of two leading Czech banks and acquisitions of significant Czech industrial and energy companies. He has participated in projects to create standard bank documentation, as well as preparing comprehensive loan and financing contracts for developer projects in the banking and financing segments. He has been actively involved in significant international projects in the areas of real estate and construction. At present, he focuses on real estate and construction, dispute resolution and general commercial and corporate law. Last year Martin Řanda was elected to the Disciplinary Committee of the Czech Bar Association.
Jan Havel Managing Partner Throughout his career, Jan Havel has acquired extensive expert experience and knowledge, especially in the area of commercial law, mergers and acquisitions and construction law, export financing and insurance, insolvency law and dispute resolution with a focus on the energy sector and supplies of technological equipment and investment units. His specialization
is advising and negotiating of international EPC contracts. Jan Havel’s many years of experience include provision of legal consultation in more than 80 complex investment and developer projects in the power engineering sector, including nuclear facilities, in Europe, Americas and Asia. He also focuses on finance and banking. Jan Havel is an arbitrator in the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic.
Tomáš Rydvan Partner Tomáš Rydvan currently specialises in public law, in particular public contract law, PPP projects and public support. His other specialisations are in the areas of TMT and public contracts subsidised from EU operational programmes. During the course of his career, Tomáš Rydvan has provided consultancy during acquisition transactions by international and domestic investors in the Czech Republic and abroad, especially in the areas of banking, insurance, industry and real estate. He provides consultancy to tender callers and bidders in tender proceedings for public contracts for the preparation of bids and organisation of tender documentation, including representation in objection proceedings, proceedings before the Competition Authority and during judicial reviews held at the administrative courts. Last year Tomáš Rydvan was elected to the Control Board of the Czech Bar Association.
